Inventory & Transaction Data: Product catalogs, stock levels, purchase invoices, billing history, barcode scans, pricing, discounts, taxes, and customer details you add to the app.
Usage & Device Information: IP address, device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, crash logs, and feature usage patterns to improve performance.
Camera & Gallery Access (with consent): For scanning barcodes, uploading product images, and AI-powered purchase entries from PDFs or vendor bills. We never store photos without your explicit action.
QR Code Payment Data: Dynamic QR generation and UPI transaction references — we do not store sensitive banking credentials; only transaction status and reference IDs for reconciliation.
How We Use Your Information
Provide, operate, and maintain Bill and Stock (inventory management, billing, online store).
Process transactions, generate GST bills, and enable instant WhatsApp sharing.
AI-powered extraction from PDFs/images to auto-fill purchase entries (data processed locally or via secure encrypted channels — never stored longer than necessary).
Improve app features, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience (analytics are anonymized where possible).
Send important service notifications, updates, and promotional offers (you may opt-out of marketing emails).
Ensure legal compliance, fraud prevention, and security monitoring.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do NOT sell your personal data or business inventory to third parties. However, limited sharing occurs in the following scenarios:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting (secure servers), payment gateways (UPI/QR reconciliation), analytics (privacy-preserving aggregations). All processors are GDPR/Indian IT Act compliant with strict NDAs.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation (e.g., tax audits, fraud investigations).
- Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data will be transferred under the same privacy commitments.
- With Your Consent: Any additional sharing only after explicit permission.
Bill sharing via WhatsApp: you control the recipient. We do not store messages or logs except for legal billing records as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your personal and business data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may delete your account at any time — upon request, we will permanently remove all inventory, billing, and personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by tax/financial regulations (typically 7-8 years for invoices as per Indian law). Anonymized analytics may be kept longer for product improvement.
Security Measures
We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 for data in transit, AES-256 for stored data), regular vulnerability scans, role-based access, and multi-factor authentication for internal systems. While no system is 100% secure, we constantly update our protocols. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials — do not share your password or session tokens.
